During my college years at VCU I had my ear to the ground for RVA hip hop. I had a grip of local demos in heavy rotation and went to shows regularly. All these many years later, I am old and out of touch. So to see great rap from my city pop up in my regular haunts for new music is a joy.
Big Kahuna OG and Monday Night’s new album (Shark Report) is all worth a listen, but this song featuring 3WaySlim is the stand out.
